Going Green

For Christmas this past year I wanted to make the majority of my gifts. I made my Mom and Sister these cute reusable grocery bags. THe ones I made for them each represented a different food group. I decided when I made mine I would personilize them a little more. THis is the first one I have finished it is me and my dog Watson. ... More to come.

I'm Here

I did it I finished a project. I have been working on making pillows for my bed for the last two weeks, unfortunately I kept getting side tracked. One of my roadblocks is my new cat CALPURNIA... I have a mouse problem in my house and my BF has wanted a cat since he started shackin up with me.

Well here are my pillows, the big one took forever because I was multi-tasking and watching WifeSwap on Lifetime. What a life.

That is my dog Watson on the bed... I am more of a dog person... and I love him.

My cute house

Here is my cute house... "My CamelBack in Clifton" this is the outside on the most beautiful day of the year. You will see the inside in later posts!!!

Luggage Updo

I know this is a basic project but I thought it was perfect for me. A couple of years ago I bought a "Camelback in Clifton" my dream house (at the time) and I did not notice that storage was an issue. My solution is that I am going to buy old luggage and make it match my design asthetic. here is my project.
Before the UPDO

Half Way

I used Mod Podge and Wrapping paper to create this project.., It was really easy and I will probably keep extra linens in it because it matches my dining room.

The Story

When I was in seventh grade in my English class we had to make a small poster based on a word that describes ourselves. My word was Creative and I believed it summed me up better than any other word. On my board I put sketches for my fashion line and blueprints for the toys I was going to design. I loved that project even if a certain Peter and unnamed friend snickered in the front row. I suspect it was based on my artist rendering of a blue chiffon gown worn by a croquis I traced from a Crayola Fashion Design kit my sister received for her eighth birthday.

I am almost 26, I work in a dead-end job and I live in a house that is dwindling my bank account into negative numbers... So what am I gonna do about it.... I am going to create something amazing... and hope that my spelling and grammar isn't atrocious! HERE WE GO!
